From building codes to new zoning to new financing mechanisms, resilience policies have the power to put planning into action. In this section, we focus on what Bay Area communities have done to build resilience through policy. The Policy section features multiple libraries of policies local jurisdictions have put into place, which cities and regions can consult to develop ideas for their own policy and planning.

In addition, we and our partners have collected a significant set of resources devoted to residential seismic safety (Housing Policy) and to sea level rise.
