People, Places & Prosperity

A happy family sits on the steps in front of their home.

The People, Places & Prosperity report (PDF) highlights the activities that the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) undertook in partnership with local governments, regional agencies, business groups, community organizations, and other stakeholders to advance implementation of the regional land use pattern adopted in Plan Bay Area 2013.

These implementation efforts focused on supporting economic vitality, promoting “complete communities” in Priority Development Areas (PDAs), fostering a more resilient region and encouraging preservation of Priority Conservation Areas (PCAs).

ABAG produced this report to provide context for the regional dialogue that was part of development of Plan Bay Area 2040.
