MTC's BayVIZ safety data system provides city and county staff with better access to safety data and analysis tools, so they can develop custom traffic safety plans and identify countermeasures that can help reduce traffic fatalities.
BayVIZ Dashboard
This flexible system combines information about crashes, infrastructure, equity and demographics, as well as additional data that become available over time.
The dashboard includes:
- Collision summary statistics
- Trends for non-motorized road users (such as people on bike or on foot)
- Details about the people who live, work, and visit selected areas
- Information about the street network and roads
- Steps and resources for implementing a Vision Zero safety plan
