Members of the public, planners, developers and programmers are invited to dive into the resources of the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC)’s open data and modeling libraries.
Decisions about transportation are informed by data. Data feeds ABAG and MTC's maps, charts, and planning analyses and forecasts. This, in turn, helps the ABAG Executive Board, MTC Commissioners and other public policy makers make informed decisions.
Explore the data to stay informed, pursue research or come up with new ideas to solve regional problems.
MTC’s Spatial Library gathers data for mapping to illustrate trends and information geographically.
Where do Bay Area residents live and work, and how do they get around? What are their ages, genders, income and occupations?
