The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) is accepting proposals for a total of $35 million in available funding for efforts to support Mobility Hubs and Parking Management programs.

Up to $33 million will be available for Regional Mobility Hubs program construction or planning and outreach, and up to $2 million will be granted for Parking Management plans or specific planning studies.

Visit the Mobility Hubs grant web page or Parking Management Planning grant web page in the ABAG Technical Assistance Portal for more information and to start an application.

A Pre-Application Workshop (join via Zoom) on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, will highlight the funding opportunities and explain details about the process:

  • 3-3:30 p.m.: Regional Mobility Hubs planning or construction grant overview and Q&A
  • 3:30-4 p.m: Parking management planning grant overview and Q&A

The application window for Mobility Hubs and Parking Management grants is open until March 31, 2023, at 4 p.m.

The Mobility Hubs and Parking Management calls for projects allocate some of the $73 million in funding approved by MTC as part of the One Bay Area Grant (OBAG 3) program. Both calls for projects seek to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by decreasing the number of vehicle miles traveled and are part of the Climate Initiatives program in the ABAG/MTC long-range regional plan, Plan Bay Area 2050.
