More than 50 elected officials, legislators, and staff members attended the ABAG and CSAC Legislative Workshop on Wednesday, February 10, 2016.

Workshop speakers highlighted the critical need for housing and disaster resilience and emphasized their work on these important issues and the need to continue to work collaboratively. Speakers underscored that elected officials and legislators will continue to work toward meeting the needs for affordable housing in the region.
Assembly Speaker Atkins underscored the importance of advocacy. Assebmlymember Thurmond noted that he welcomed input from elected officials regarding the newly formed Select Committee on Regional Planning in which he is chair.
