New Affordable Housing Portal Launches for Bay Area

The Bay Area Housing Finance Authority (BAHFA) today launched the Doorway Housing Portal, a hub to easily find affordable housing in the Bay Area. The first-of-its-kind regional online portal was developed with pro bono support from Google.org Fellows, a team that includes Google researchers, designers, product managers and software engineers.

Bay Area high school students are encouraged to apply for the Norman Mineta Bay Area Summer Academy, a four-week paid internship with the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG), Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), the Bay Conservation and Development Commission (BCDC) and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (Air District).
