BayREN Fall Forum on November 16th: Zero Net Energy for Local Governments Workshop

Elected officials and staff are invited to attend the Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN) Forum hosted in partnership with the New Buildings Institute (NBI) on November 16, 2016, at the David Brower Center in Berkeley. The forum will feature Zero Net Energy (ZNE) design and operation strategies, effective policies and codes, as well as planning approaches and other resources to support advancement of ZNE buildings in your community.



This free six-hour workshop will support local governments working to integrate state goals to achieve zero net energy buildings (ZNE). Learn about case studies on ZNE buildings, new programs and tools to support local government ZNE policy and plan development, as well as new research and emerging trends.



Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Join us after for an optional tour of the West Berkeley Branch Library net positive energy building (note: if you are interested in the tour, please indicate in your registration if you will need a ride to the tour site).
