Apply now for NOAA's Coastal Resilience Grants

NOAA's Coastal Resilience Grants

Cities, towns, and counties are invited to apply for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Coastal Resilience Grants to fund climate resilience projects in their jurisdictions. Funded projects should advance healthy and sustainable coastal ecosystems through habitat restoration and support approaches to build resilience of coastal regions, communities, and the economy by developing plans and implementing actions to mitigate the negative impacts of extreme weather and climate-related hazards. Grants will fund projects that build resilience, including activities that protect life and property, safeguard people and infrastructure, strengthen the economy, or conserve and restore coastal and marine resources.

Applications are due by March 15, 2017.
