Elected officials are invited to attend the 3rd hearing of the Assembly Select Committee on Regional Planning for the San Francisco Bay Area on Friday, May 20, 2016. The hearing will include an update on the merger study option selected by the Joint Committee of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) and Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) that are overseeing the study, along with additional information. Also under discussion is the topic of sea level rise, wetland restoration and Measure AA, as it relates to the nine county Bay Area Region.
