The Solar Toolkit for Cities State Transmittal Letter Template is for use by Bay Area cites and counties to help them demonstrate compliance to the California Energy Commission (CEC). Jurisdiction staff should modify the template and send to the CEC – along with their respective adopted Solar Photovoltaic Building Code ordinance, resolution and cost effectiveness study – to confirm compliance with state energy code and environmental quality act requirements.
