In Winter/Spring 2022, ABAG staff and consultants reviewed 33 comment letters from the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) to jurisdictions in regions with earlier Housing Element deadlines than the Bay Area's. These summary documents, presented to the ABAG Housing Committee in May 2022, highlight common themes and lessons for Bay Area jurisdictions as they prepare their 6th cycle Housing Elements.
