In Session 2 of the Aging Malls & Office Parks Transformation Work Group, consultants presented several project examples on how to successfully introduce housing into large mall and office park sites that were previously exclusively non-residential, and other considerations for phasing new housing into existing sites. Consultants also provided guidance on how to rezone mall and office sites identified in Housing Elements.
