When housing choice and access are limited because of someone’s protected characteristic (such as race, sexual orientation or disability status), there are far-reaching impacts on access to job opportunities, quality education and to one’s mental and physical health.
HCD produced this report in conformance with the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) Final Rule (2015), as required for all U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Planning and Development (CPD) funding recipients.
