Staff from ABAG and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) staff have combed through the Assessment of Fair Housing (AFH) portion of the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) guidance memo.
We’ve organized and simplified identification of the data required for the AFH analysis by preparing a checklist which summarizes all of the data points relevant for the AFH analysis. This first distribution is a preliminary draft. We plan to review the checklist with HCD in the coming months to fill in gaps in data sources. We will distribute an updated version in fall, 2021.
