Please join the Bay Area Planning Director’s Association (BAPDA) Spring 2021 General Membership Meeting, HOUSING NOW, on Friday, April 23^rd, 2021, 10AM - 11:30AM. Due to COVID-19 protocols, this will be an abbreviated virtual meeting hosted by ABAG/MTC on Zoom. There is no fee to attend.

The General Membership meeting will focus on regional housing issues and current legislation affecting planning on the ground.  Panelists will include regional planning staff, local planning directors and a legislative analyst who will:

• Review updates to the Regional Housing Needs Allocation (RHNA) schedule and ABAG’s Housing Technical Assistance Program (Matt Maloney, ABAG/MTC Planning Director,
• Deliver local jurisdiction case studies regarding No Net Loss (SB330) in Practice (Community Development Directors- Andre Ouse, City of Concord and Paul Jensen, City of San Rafael), and
• Overview current housing and land use legislation in Sacramento Eric S. Phillips | Burke, Williams & Sorensen, LLP
