Association of Bay Area Governments

ABAG stands for the Association of Bay Area Governments. Our mission is to strengthen cooperation and collaboration across local governments to build healthier, stronger communities.

ABAG is part regional planning agency and part local government service provider. We accomplish our goals by providing planning services and cost-effective ABAG member services to local governments struggling with rising costs and diminishing incomes.

General Assembly Registration Available

The annual General Assembly is June 16.  The Business Meeting is from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to review and approve the 2023-24 Budget and Work Program.  A quorum of Delegates is required to review the Budget and Work Program. The Conference will examine Bay Area Economic Development and is scheduled to start at 11:30 with lunch and a keynote speaker.  Register here for the General Assembly. More information will be available here.
