- Bay Area Recycling Outreach Coalition (BAYROC)
A coalition of Bay Area cities, counties, and organizations working to

- California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB)
Provides technical information on solid waste management, including
information on markets for recyclable materials.
A free, online materials exchange service designed to help businesses,
organizations, local governments, industry, schools, and individuals find markets for
nonhazardous materials that may otherwise be discarded.
- Community Alliance with Family Farmers
works with family farmers throughout the state to promote sustainable agriculture. They have an
online resource, which provides local food information and sourcing options. Additionally, their Growers Collaborative Distribution system is working to link farmers with more direct markets.

As the Western States Green Business Coordinator, EFC 9 is assisting jurisdictions
throughout California and other states to organize and launch Green Business

Provides lighting, air conditioning, refrigeration recommendations and

Spare the Air was established by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District
to educate people about air pollution, and how to change their behavior to
